so now am checking temperature, round the clock giving them medicines and worrying... :)
I know it will go away... but am tied, need some fresh air, want walk in the rain outside, get atleast one hour sleep..
all of my friends are out of town for the weekend.
On a lighter note... I cook some rice for Serene and ask her to eat it and she told me she don't like it. I told her you have to be thankful for your food, there is so many babies doesn't have any food to eat. She told me we can send them some PBJ.
love you all

It is awful to have to see our little ones with high temperatures and feeling poorly.
ReplyDeleteHope they are soon recovered and that they don't disrupt your sleep too much.
Hi honey. Just checking in to see if the kids are feeling a bit better. I'd call, but don't want to impose at a difficult time. I'm so happy you went to the ER and Noah was diagnosed. We're thinking about all of you. You know that. Get well soon and Bindi, try to take little naps when possible. And make sure you eat properly, okay? I'm serious. You're the only mommy they have.
ReplyDeleteI looked for the tea at WalMart and didn't find it. Give me the name again. Perhaps I was looking for the wrong tea!!!
Serene is a rascal as usual. What did you add to the rice to make it so distasteful! Oh, and Bindi, that whole "kids are starving all over the world..." thing doesn't usually work with children, but good luck with that!!! You know it's interesting because my mom used to make us eat food we hated. HATED!!! When I was tested for allergies years later, turned out I was highly allergic to every food I hated. Something you might want to think about with the "Wee One." Also, I read a study a few years ago about how children's taste buds develope over time, so if a child doesn't want to eat a particular veggie, just let it go because he/she will probably like it next year! The article also talked about children going through phases where they just want ONE food. The doctors said to just go with flow because it's a phase and it'll pass. I thought that was fascinating because parents worry so much about their child eating properly. I forget where I read the article, but you can probably Google it. It's a terrific study and really informative.
We love you baby. Hang in there. Hug hugs and kisses from across the miles.
Suze & Rob XO

hi bindi,
ReplyDeletei'm not answering comments too well these days but i wanted to say thanks for your sweet words of en couragement at my place and at "a yarn"
i'm sorry to hear the wee ones are sick but try not to worry. most of these things just disappear when it's time and suddenly your little one is back better than ever.
i like to let a fever run it's course without medication if i can, my idea being that it is there for a reason but when i am exhausted or the patient is exhausted a little bit of ibuprofen or tylenol (is that right? it's panadol here) are a Godsend
take care of yourself my friend and God Bless
kylie

Hi baby. Thanks for the call. Sorry I had to run to rescue a kitty!!! Yup, I got him!!! Sweet Pea to be exact. I had to crawl under the Mercedes and drag him out by his tail until I could grab his body. He wasn't happy. No really, trust me, he wasn't happy!!! My life is insane Bindi. But it's a good life.
ReplyDeleteLoved talking to you tonight. Glad to hear all is well. Also happy to hear about the non-profit. That's really a wonderful idea. Rob's here and said to say "Hi!" He loves you too darling.
Well, goodnight sweetie. Sorry I didn't call back. Life is so crazy here. You know. I'll try to call over the weekend. Hey honey, if you have time, Cece could probably use a bit of support. She's going through a rough patch. So if you have a few minutes call and let her know you love her.
We love you darling. We're so happy to hear about your amazing support system. People are good Bindi. They really are. Love you so much.
Hugs and kisses to all,
