I'll be away....

EMS is not getting any better...but am sure it will get better...I got medicines for every thing special. I told the dr. about nausea, dizziness, no taste etc etc...dr. got me medicine to stop all those...but am hard headed, am not going to take anything other than folic acid...just suffer the rest.. my parents send me so much ayurveda medicine too..

As you all know we have a lot of ducks here. today after feeding the ducks we walk around the pond. I saw a little boy kicking a mamma duck. I ask him why he kicking the duck. he goes "i am trying to see is there any ducklings". before i say anything Serene goes "be nice to the ducks" ..This is not the first time I saw them hurting the birds. I don't know where this little ones learn to hurt the birds...it is so sad to see things like this....

am going to be away for a little bit.. till i get control over EMS :))

love you all

bindi

  11. Well, you know me honey. What you say to the little boy is "Don't ever hurt another living creature or I'll report you to the athorities." No, I'm not kidding. I don't take abuse of any animal lightly. You know that. And if you see abuse of an animal you should report it. And yes, you all know what I would have said to that kid. We're under no illusions here. I would not have held a single word. But that's me. Sometimes kid need to learn a valuable lesson.

Bindi, I love you. Take all the time you need sweetie. We'll all be here when you find the strength to return. We love you so much and distance only makes the heart grow fonder. You know us, and we know you and we aren't going anywhere honey. We'll wait. Fell better soon.

    With much love,
    Suze

  12. Hello little Sister,
I'm in Singapore now. It's so amazing and full of interesting sights, sounds, smells....taking so many pictures. My daughter's boyfriend's family are the finest hosts I've ever encountered. The Malay people are so very warm and inviting. I've attended 2 weddings already!
thinking of you, so I'm using Niz's computer...may stay a bit longer here in Singapore as Niz is definately NOT ready for Sara to go! Take great care of yourself...love you,
    Shara

  14. That is so sad about the ducks but just a few weeks ago it was in our local paper that a group of 5 year olds were found kicking a 6 week old puppy! The puppy survived but had to have a leg amputated - what on earth are their parents teaching them, or not teaching them?

Your little angel is just that - a little angel! x

  15. Akelamalu,

Bindi isn't here, but I know she wouldn't mind this in the least. You broke my heart with that one you know. What's wrong with people? What's wrong with kids? How can a human being hurt another living creature and think nothing of it. 5 year old? That's insane. What are we doing wrong as parents? As a society?

Love you dear. Hope all is well.

    XO

  18. hi bindi
i'm just dropping by to say take care and i'll be happy to see you back when you feel ok

    @everyone
    about the ducks:
kids who do that kind of stuff are most likely treated that way at home, so if anyone knows kids who are prone to that behaviour they might need some help.....it's hard to know what to do often but still worth keeping in mind

  20. Dearest Bindi,

I hope you will be feeling better and more relaxed soon. It is sad when people don't teach their children to be kind to the animals. Birds are so fragile, kicking them like that is very dangerous.

    Best wishes,
    Skeeter
